Whats-your-solution 1.0 is another blue theme, which loads very fast because it only contains images of size 2.12 KB. This theme is designed for blogs needing a more corporate look yet using WordPress as their CMS. It is compatible for wordpress 1.5x – 2.0.1 . The orignal design is by Luka Cvrk, Solucija.com. And ported by Gfxedit.com.
Features
- Has del.icio.us and technorati (cosmos) tags after posts.
- Use class=”articleimg” tag for images to appear on right , and class=”articleimgleft” tag for images to appear on left.
For a live preview, go to Sabahan.com. His blog is decorated by this theme. His page also led me to Gfxedit.com.
MW 1.1
May 10, 2006
MW 1.1 is a wordpress theme from Monetizing the Web blog, a blog devoted to explaining concepts and offering advice on a wide range of web-related topics. And the most interesting feature is the easy ad management. Ad units in the header, after the two first article blocks (Google AdSense compliant) and at the bottom. This theme also compatible for WordPress 1.5 and 2.0.
Available features:
- Option to show full text or summary in front page, archives and search.
- Option to show the summary at the top of single posts.
- Fixed a bug about dates in archive pages.
- Clean, simple and classic look.
- 2-column, fixed width, centered layout with left sidebar.
- Option to choose between 17 color schemes:
- Some modules: last articles, related articles…
- Subscription options (Bloglines, Feedster, Google Reader…).
- Digg, Del.icio.us and Furl links after articles.
- Comments: automatically highlighted trackbacks and author comments. Integrated gravatars.
Andreas 0.8 – 2-column or 3-column layout
May 9, 2006
Andreas 0.8 for WordPress has no images so the file size is minimal, but it is easy to add your own images if you want to. Choose between a 2-column or 3-column layout to suit your purpose of your blog. But for the 3-column layout, it’s not very SEO friendly since it loads the left sidebar first rather than the contents. For me, the attractive factor of this theme is its blue colour and its simplicity. Go to the download and demo page.
